Play the above video and watch this 5-Minute Coaching session.

I have a book idea… what's next?

In this coaching session video linked above, Jackie shares her interactive Bible study/book idea and wonders, “What’s next?”.

Listen on in as we process through some tough questions every new author should consider. Plus, get a behind the scenes glimpse at how my first self published book became traditionally published, and gain some insight on the questions you need to process through before you begin creating your book too.

SOME QUESTIONS TO WORK THROUGH:

1. Do you want to self publish or traditionally publish? This determines what tasks to accomplish as you begin to write your book.

2. Where is one place my ideal reader can consume my content before it’s a book? ▪ Blog posts ▪ Podcast ▪ Facebook Live ▪ Weekly email content, etc

3. Who is your target reader? Niche down when possible to provide the best reader experience

BONUS SOCIAL MEDIA TIP FOR AUTHORS:

Anytime you can repurpose content in a blog post, podcast, graphics for social media, do it! God has already given you words, just repurpose them into tiny bite-sized pieces so you’re able to extend the reach of your God-given message.

👏👏 If you too are developing a book I hope you find this helpful! What's the next step you'll be taking as you do?
